•Starve The Ego Feed The Soul•
Take a look in the mirror and ask yourself, “am I operating from a place of love and from the true essence of my soul? Or am I allowing my ego to run the show?“
This is a very tough question, most people refuse to ask themselves this because #selfawareness can be scary!
Most of the time, when I talk about ego, people associate a negative connotation to it.
What is the #EGO?
It is a persons self-esteem or self-importance, according to most dictionaries and society in general.
In a more spiritual term, when practicing #meditation or considering #philosophy, it refers to the conscious thinking of reality and a personal identity.
The ego lives in the tension between who you are and who you want to be. The ultimate aim of the ego is not to see something, but to be something. A way of being that isn’t necessarily of service to your true essence and #innerself.
The ego, however, is not who you really are! It is your self image, your social mask, the role you are playing because society expects you to be this way. You were conditioned as such and “must be”.
Your social mask thrives on approval. It wants to control and is sustained by power, because it lives in FEAR.
You must learn to get in touch with the innermost essence of your being. This #trueessence is beyond the ego.
It is #FEARLESS.
It is #FREE.
It is immune to criticism.
It does not fear any challenge.
It is beneath no one, it is superior to no one.
Your essence is full of #MAGIC, mystery and #enchantment.
The ego is your false self, your soul is your true self.
Your ego is your worst enemy.
To be truly #happy, you MUST #starvetheego.
How? By coming from a place of #LOVE and #GRATITUDE.
Gratitude opens the door to the power of creativity and the wisdom of the universe.
Tap into it, it is your secret weapon and the truest way of living.
Use it wisely, use it well.
And drop that ego like yesterday!
