The other day I was having a really hard day. On the way back to the RV we spotted this house and it cheered me up. I'm not someone who goes overboard with the decorations like this but I sure do appreciate people who do.
I have been eating so many sweet potatoes lately to help absorb this stress! I learned from the @medicalmedium information that Sweet potatoes are an excellent anti-stress food and are known to help relax muscles, steady nerves, and balance cognitive function. They are also good for highly stressful times like the other day. They have become my steady comfort food right now, I have been eating them daily.
My favorite and really simple way to eat them is cut into 1.5" rounds, steamed, then seasoned with berbere or garam masala, garlic powder, coriander and Himalayan salt. They are so delicious and so so soothing!
